Urban Animals - Adapted to Concrete

We are more than seven billion people housing the planet. We have changed the nature so that it would be suitable for our needs. We become the most adapted beings that dwell the Earth. Or is it not?

The fact is that now few of us are able to live in natural conditions on the earth. We have evolved so much that we have lost our ability to survive in nature. Without our tools and technologies we are fragilized. Imagine, how many days can you stay without looking at your mobile phone or any other screen? Would that be the end of the world?

Our way of housing the planet has not only affected our lives, but also affected all the other forms of life that share the planet with us. Animals and plants had to adapt to what we did and what we still do on Earth.

Animals and plants are the true evolved life forms and best adapted to live here. There are more than eight million species known, other than that were not yet cataloged. And at least the great majority of them live in balance with nature, adapting to the environment without any technological resources. Capacity we have abandoned for a long time.

In any way the species continue to adapt and resist our interference in the environment. Many of them strive to survive climate change and the destruction of their habitats. Others have adapted to the urban environment and try to take some benefit and support from our lifestyle.

In this channel we will dive together in the planet's biodiversity and understand all the effort that it makes to survive and adapt. Let's show you the incredible side of the earth's biological web and all the beauty that surrounds you. After all, the Earth without animals and plants would not have grace, is it not?

Bio is Life! Bio Web!
